Congrats on surviving NovPAD! Wasn't that a wild ride? I've never written so many poems at a time, especially without relying on the divine tap on the shoulder by the muses. It's so empowering to realize that I can call poetry to me, rather than waiting around hoping for something to happen.

Wishing you all the best as you gather your chapbook. I love knowing that a large group of us are all working on parallel paths.

Let's do it together. We could have some editing dates. Even if we're just sitting across from each other drinking coffee, we can dedicate blocks of a couple of hours to knowing we're just going to work on it. But I'll also work on a post about editing tips. Look for it on Friday.

I'm glad this worked for you, Sonya, thrilled really. I hadn't been writing either, and felt lost. This got me back on track - at least for now.

I'm also going to work on a chapbook, but feel less motivated...help!

There's something to be said for just sitting down and writing. Congratulations on NaNo.

Sonya--

Congrats on the success with this challenge. After the NaNo challenge, I feel like the writing is more free, too, for whatever direction I need or want to take it. I believe it is ingraining the process that releases the oppressed creative freedom. The inner critic has a harder time keeping the lid on when the words, whether "good" or "bad" are filling up and seeping through the walls of the critic's container.
